Postcards For Network Marketing

[ by Kenny Cannon ]
When I first started using post cards to market network marketing programs there was much more competition. Today people don't use it as much. Many more people would rather use forms of Internet marketing. Post cards marketing, right now, can be better than ever.

Website
In order to run a successful post card marketing campaign, you must have a separate website just for that campaign. You want to put up a squeeze page on that website in order to capture emails and names. You also want to give someone away on the website as well. A simple 10 page E-Book or something like that will work just fine. You also want to install some sort of stat tracking on that site so you can track the success of your campaign. There are many free tracking services out there (stat counter, analytics, etc.).

Cost
The cost of a post card campaign can be considered a negative, but I like to look at it as a positive. It will cost you a good amount of money to run a successful campaign. The cost will depend on the amount of mailings that you do and how wide a range you choose (all in one zip code is cheapest). I would say an average would be around .50 cents per mailing and that would include postage. Because post card marketing is more expensive then other forms of marketing, most Network Marketers will stay away from it. That is why it is something that must be done if you are serious about network marketing.

Targeted Only
It would be a complete waste of time to market to an untargeted list. You want to mail to people who are actively looking for a business opportunity. Do a search online or talk to others in the business and find a good list broker.

Give Something Away
In order for people to participate in the call to action (when you tell them to go to the website with your squeeze page) you must give something away for free. As I said above, a simple ten page E-Book or a small series of recording within your niche will work just fine. The more you give away the better chance you have of getting them to your site.

Test Campaign
Start off will a small test campaign of about 2,000 people. You should expect about a 5 or 6% response rate with 20% or sign turning into downline members. That means that if you mail to 2,000 targeted opportunity seekers, 100 will sign up for your email list (on your squeeze page) and out of those 100, 20 or so will become downline members.

To wrap it up, make sure you have a targeted list, try and stay in a set area of the Country to reduce costs and start off with a small test campaign of about 2000 to make sure your results are up to par. Follow those steps should ensure a successful Network Marketing post card campaign.

I managed to build an organization of about 10,000 in 3 months. I continue to get hundreds of sponsorships each week. My business is on auto-pilot.
